In this tutorial we'll see how we make a face-paint and end up with an image like the one on the right.
The actual technique isn't that difficult. In most simple version, you have color image with the blending mode set to linear burn on top of a B&W image. That's it !
Underneath you'll see a screenshot of how the layer pallet of my image looked like.
Before I'll start the tutorial I'll give you the opportunity to download the original files I started with in low resolution. In that way you can start with the same material as I did if you wish.
