Glamour Retouching
01. Introduction
Hi All,
On the following pages I will teach you some technics on giving your photo's some extra glamour touch.
I won't go into detail about basic exposure and color correction or the like. There are tutorials enough abut these subjects already.
I want to make clear that it's not the intention to retouch every photo like this. Normally you should try to make them as good as possible right out of the camera. This will not only save you a lot of time, but it makes you a better photographer also.
But we all make faults and sometimes these technics can mask some of the errors you made.
Secondly I must stress that I'm just an amateur as well. So I'm not saying that my methods are THE methods to follow. I just give some hints how I do it. If you think there is a better way of doing things, you may always mail me. I'm happy to learn too.
Underneath you see an original image which has a lot of shortcomings. Move your mouse over the image to see the retouched version. It's far from perfect either, but in my view it's much more appealing to the eye than the original.
