09. Enhancing eyes - part 2
There is still one thing we can improve in those eyes and that is the color of the iris. This we can do the following way.
1. Add a new layer
2. Choose a color you think will do well. It doesn't mind at this moment which color you choose.
3. Select the brush tool
4. Paint, on 100 opacity, over the iris.
5. It really looks odd, doesn't it :)
6. Change the blending mode of the new layer. Choose the mode yourself. Just play a little until you find something you like. I've chosen hard light in this case. But in other cases Overlay or Multiply could be better.
7. Add a layer mask to the new layer and mask everything you don't want to be colored.
8. Again, use the opacity for fine tuning.
In the end the eye looks a lot better imho.
