11. Make-up Lips
With the methods we used to enhance the iris on page 9 and 10, we could also apply some make-up. Let's start with lipstick.
1. Add a new layer
2. Choose a reddish color
3. Paint that color on the new layer over the lips
4. It does look odd, doesn't it ?
5. Change the blending mode. This time I've chosen soft light, but on other images an other blending mode could be better. Just experiment a little yourself.
6. Mask area's which you don't want to color
7. Lower the opacity until the effect looks good.
You could always use hue/saturation to change the color and to achieve an other effect. (just like I did on page 9 when I changed the brown iris into a blue one)
